AVA Television and Film Services is the trading name of Joe McKeever.

Joe is a Lighting Cameraman with over 20 years experience of lighting and shooting video and film for all kinds of Television and Corporate production. He has an extensive contact network covering crewing,post production and support areas such as transportation and accommodation. After nine years on the staff of R.T.E., Ireland's national broadcaster, where he trained in the editing and camera departments, he was promoted to the full lighting cameraman grade and for the next fifteen years he shot News, Current Affairs and Documentaries for R.T.E. Since 2002 Joe has been freelance, at first buying in to tape based camera systems such as Digibeta and DVC Pro, then into file based systems such as XD Cam, shooting HD on his Sony PDW 70 and now on his Canon C300 and SD on his Sony PDW 530. His major project as a freelancer, "Exile in Hell" and "Banished Women", both historical drama documentaries, were shot in Australia for the Irish Language Channel TG4. As well as shooting corporate video material recently Joe has shot 2 feature films, "Lifes shadows" and "Wild Goose Lodge"
